Mel Robertson was Burford's local historian for many years. He loved recounting Burford's history and wrote many wonderful articles about Burford's past for the Burford Advance and Burford Times newspapers. Several of these articles have been included in our collection thanks to the generosity of Mel's daughter, Liz Brown, and the publishers at the Burford Times.
