- Black and white photograph of the old wooden jail in Magnetawan. The back of the building has a small window with bars in it. When this picture was taken the jail has not be used in some time. Some of the shingles on the roof have fallen off.
- Inscriptions
- At the bottom of the photograph there are two written lines. The first line has, 'Jail Magnetawan,' handwritten in blue pencil. The second line has, 'SITUATED NEAR THE DOCKS BELOW THE ANGLICAN CHURCH WAS BUILT BY THE PROVINCE OF ONTARIO - ONLY ONE DOOR,' is handwritten in blue ink.
