- Jessie Mary(Caverhill) and George Herbert King were married September 14, 1910 in Trafalgar,Ontario by Rev. G.G. McRobie in the Presbyterian Church at the Sixteen River, Knox Sixteen. George purchased the Kaitting house on Dundas Highway in 1910.
They had six children: Mary Elizabeth, Muriel Thurlo, Howard Caverhill, Harriet Jean, Donald Percy, and Gordon George.
Mary married Rev. Hugh Grant Cleghorn and moved in 1937 to Hanover, Ontario.
Muriel died at birth in 1911.
Howard married Myrtle Peacock and remained in Trafalgar to farm.
Harriet Jean married Melvin Price and moved to Lewiston, New York.
Donald married Mae Kathryn Costelow and moved to Indiana.
Gordon George married Dolores Ann Lindgren and remained on the farm until 1996 when they relocated to Waterdown, Ontario to farm on a smaller scale. - Subject(s)
