The Annual Meeting of the members of the Kimberly Clark Employees' Charity Fund was held in the Rec- reation Centre at 7 p.m. on January Slst. Chairman, W.Baillie, in his annual report, stated that $6,167.50 was collected and distributed during 1966, an increase of about $160. over 1965. He reported a total membership of 445 representing approximately 83% of the Kimberly-Clark payroll . The Chairman moved a vote of thanks to Joseph Marcella, one of the original Directors, who has retired from Kimberly-Clark. J.Steen and J. Pap- ousek were elected to the Board of Directors. It was suggested by those present that all members of KC-ECF should review their donations with a view to increasing them to help compensate for higher costs and increasing need. CARE of Canada and its special project, The Vietnam Relief Fund, were cited as examples of organizations that could use more help from KC-ECF. OLDTIMERS HERE MARCH 4th and Marathon players have confirmed a game with the National Hockey League Oldtimers (Toronto) on Saturday, March 4th at 4 p.m. We have set this game as a Centennial project and would appreciate support to make this venture a financial success. Profits will be given to local hockey. We will have the Terrace Bay Band in attendance so come early for some entertaining music. That evening the public is invited to a get acquainted dance at the Moose Hall. An out of town orchestra will be playing. The N.H.L. Oldtimers and the North Shore All Stars will be in attendance.
