Page 4 ~ THE NEW STAMP HONOURS SIR WINSTON CHURCH- HILL Details of a Canadian postage stamp to be issued August 12 to honour Sir Winston Churchill were released today by the Hon Rene Tremblay, Postmas- ter General . The stamp is the first Canadian stamp printed by the duotone offset process, a method of printing particularly suited to the repro- duction of photographs. It features the famous "roaring lion" portrait of Sir Winston Churchill by Yousuf Karsh, internationally renowned Canadian photographer. Complementary design is the work of Philip Weiss, Canadian artist and Director of Indus- try's National Design Branch.
