STATION IS OPENED On Saturdey, May 26th, the swanky new 'C.P.R. Station was officially opened by Mr. -G, N, Curley, General Menager of the C.P.R. 'A short official ceremony was held with members of Kimberly-Clark, LongLac Pulp and | Paper Co., and C.P.R, Company in attendance, 'In addition to Mr. Curley, Messrs, F, M, Donegan, District Superintendent; J. R, Caswell, Distric Engineer and W. J, Harman, : Superintendent Schreiber Division represcnt- ' ed tho C.P.R. ' Donovan, and E, N, White came up from tho 'Kimberley--Clark office in Toronto. Messrs. In connection with the opening of the new station, the general public is request- - ed to take note that new services will Pom: @ommonce this week-end, coming into effect for reilrond employees on June lst, this means that no freight or -express will be handled during Saturday or : Sunday of each weck, - to thet will be any incoming perishable items, With 2 40 hour weck The only exception including foodstuffs, will be delivered, A continuous servicc, 24 hours per day, seven days per week, will be maintained in the new station, when an operator will be in attend- ance to handle ticket sales, telegrams, enquiries, etc. For the time being, all freight will be handled from the old station site, however, it is expected that work will commence 5 shortly on the construction of a new freight shed adjacent to the new station.
