Warner's Russell Senior Citizens The Russell Senior Citizens have been very active during the summer with card parties, bus trips, and a very successful bazaar held in October. Now they are preparing for their next bazaar. The men folk are busy as well, organizing games. The card parties will continue each week on Saturday nights at 8 o'clock at the Senior Citizens' Drop-In Centre in the Anglican Church Hall. The regular meetings are held the first Monday of each month, workshop and games Tuesday of each week; Refreshments are served during the Social hour and there is no charge. With Christmas approaching, planned for Dec. 13th at 1:30 p.m., a silver collection for admission. At the November meeting the officers were re-elected by ac- clamation with an Assistant Secretary, Mrs. Helen Loucks, also a Game committee. Admis- sion to the Card Parties is 75c. It is progressive -- the highest scorer at the end of the month receives a prize of $5.00. Be with us on Nov. 27th at the Senior Citizens Drop-In Centre at 8 o'clock and enjoy '"'after the game"' refreshments.
