- This is a black and white photo of the General Store in Little Rapids. The photo shows part of the front of the building which is a wood frame building with a stone foundation.
Postal boxes can be seen on the left side of the door and a broom stands ready on the front step.
- Notes
- This is a black and white photo taken on October 16, 1979. The Little Rapids General Store was run for over 23 years by Peggy and John MacLean.
While running the store Mr. MacLean also served as Town Clerk. In addition to selling various general store goods, you could also buy gas, receive or leave messages for neighbors and use the store as a meeting place for out of town company.
