- This is a black and white photo of the steel beam specially constructed for the Ansonia Bridge project.
There is a man shown in a small trailer at the rear of the beam wearing a headset so he can communicate with the driver of the transport during transportation to the site.
- Notes
- This is the longest load ever to leave the Dominion Bridge Company plant in Sault Ste. Marie. Each beam was 100 feet long and the load measured 133 feet in overall length and required an additional man to steer the rear end.
