Description
This is a black and white photo of part of the east side of Main Street, in winter. Shown is the Bluebird Restaurant, the Empire Theater and Delhenty`s Barber Shop. The buildings are partially obscured by a huge snow bank.
Inscriptions
The affixed note at the bottom of the record reads:
"EAST SIDE OF THESSALON MAIN STREET SHOWING BLUEBIRD RESTAURANT (BURNED DECEMBER 1, 1950). THEATRE OWNED BY Dan SANDIE THIS WAS TORN DOWN IN 1990. THE ONLY BUILDING STILL STANDING IN 1992 IS NOLIE DELHENTY'S BARBERSHOP COVERED BY SNOW BANK."
