- This is a black and white photo taken at Crawford's logging camp. The men are all dressed in warm clothing. The camp was on Beaver Creek which is north of Thessalon in Wells TWP and is south of the north end of Melwel Road. It starts between Rock and Osborne Lake, then empties into the Mississagi River at Goldendburg.

- The typewritten notes accompanying this photo read: "Crawford's Camp. Crawford's Camp was on Beaver Creek about 1908 did saw logs for the Thessalon Lumber Company."
