Hawken of Flesherton at the time of Miss Macphail's re-election to the House of Commons for her fifth term"; "taken October 19, 1935(?) at a tea given in her honor"; "Miss Macphail is standing in the front and is wearing what is described as a gown of rich plum shade silk velvet"; "photograph used in newspaper article also in possession of the museum"; "another woman, unidentified is leaning on the pillar to the right; she is not used in the newspaper article, only the center part of the photograph was used".
