- James Cairns passed away April 5th 1895 at the age of 95 years and 7 months. Martha (maiden name Latimore), James' wife, passed away on October 3, 1859 at the age of 63. The second James listed on the headstone, likely a son of the first James and Martha, passed away on January 1st, 1910 at the age of 75. Ellen (maiden name Smith), his wife, passed away on October 31st, 1913 at the age of 68. Frederick William, their son, passed away July 28th 1874 at the age of 2 years and 1 month. Bertha J. Simpson passed away April 16th 1925 at the age of 50 - no information regarding her relationship to the other individuals listed on this headstone is given. They are buried at Harley Cemetery. The headstone has two markers, and while they are worn, appear to read Mother and Father.
