Description
The Historical Society is particularly indebted to Waitstill ‘Waity’ Croswell, Joyce Crossman, Jack Crossman, Orma Quinn, Lynn Abbot Lennox, the Wellever family. Richard Moore, Norma Hill-Watt and the late John Macfie for the photos and associated descriptions.

Notes
In the picture at left looking southwest across Ahmic Lake from in front of the Lakeview Hotel, the area cleared for skating is clearly visible. Across the lake, in the centre of the picture is the boat shop of Clifford Croswell, a cousin of the Croswell Brothers who had operated the boat works in Ahmic Harbour from 1903 to 1915. On the hill to the left of the Croswell boat shop is the home built by Lewis and Eliza (Courvoisier) Crossman. At the time of this picture the house was the home of Arnold and Beatrice (Crossman) Wylie.
