- Description
- The Historical Society is particularly indebted to Waitstill ‘Waity’ Croswell, Joyce Crossman, Jack Crossman, Orma Quinn, Lynn Abbot Lennox, the Wellever family. Richard Moore, Norma Hill-Watt and the late John Macfie for the photos and associated descriptions.
- Notes
- The homes in the picture would appear to be the Albert Hill and family home (lot 13 on the north side of Elizabeth Street); the George and Jane Brown home, later owned by Wm Jones and family (lot 12 on the south side of Elizabeth Street); and the Dennis Crowley family home (lot 12 and 13 on the south side of Elizabeth Street) but this needs confirmation.
The boat would appear to be the ‘Armour’
