Description
The Historical Society is particularly indebted to Waitstill ‘Waity’ Croswell, Joyce Crossman, Jack Crossman, Orma Quinn, Lynn Abbot Lennox, the Wellever family. Richard Moore, Norma Hill-Watt and the late John Macfie for the photos and associated descriptions.
Notes
The homes in the picture would appear to be the Albert Hill and family home (lot 13 on the north side of Elizabeth Street); the George and Jane Brown home, later owned by Wm Jones and family (lot 12 on the south side of Elizabeth Street); and the Dennis Crowley family home (lot 12 and 13 on the south side of Elizabeth Street) but this needs confirmation.
The boat would appear to be the ‘Armour’
