    The Whitby Yacht Club was founded in the fall of 1933 and disbanded during the Second World War. The clubhouse was built in 1934.

    This airplane was owned by Norman Irwin of Red Wing Orchards. It was stored in a hanger he built on the east side of the harbour basin in 1935.
