Description
This is a black and white photograph of those who attended the funeral of Hama Kobayshi, standing on the front steps of the Ontario Ladies' College. At the centre are Miss A.A. Maxwell, lady principal, and Rev. Francis Farewell, the principal.
Notes
Hama Kobayshi was a Japanese student who died at the College in 1925. Her father provided furniture for the study hall as a memorial to his daughter. Ontario Ladies' College is now known as Trafalgar Castle School, and is located at 401 Reynolds Street.
