- Black and white negative of a photograph of a print of Whitby that appeared in Picturesque Canada: The Country as it was and is. The image shows a group of people standing on the roof of the Ontario Ladies' College looking west over the Town of Whitby. The college itself is featured at centre-foreground.
St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church is visible at left. At right is the Port Whitby and Port Perry Railway station. The street leading off into the distance at left is Gilbert Street.
