- Black and white negative of a photograph of W.J. Luke's Machine Shop and some of the other buildings on Centre Street between Colborne and Dundas Streets. The building at the centre of the photograph is the Whitby Baptist Church. W.J. Luke's Machine Shop is at the far right and the Luke residence is to the left of the shop.
- Notes
- The Whitby Baptist Church was built in 1869 at 300 Colborne Street West. It was demolished in 1977.
W.J. Luke's Machine Shop was located on the west side of Centre Street south of Dundas Street. It has been demolished. The Luke residence, next-door to the shop, was demolished in 1979. - Date of Original
