- Black and white negative of a photograph of Julia Rahmes (back left), John Rahmes (back right), Mary Williams (front left), and Peter Williams (front right) on the occasion of the 50th wedding anniversary of Peter and Mary Williams. Julia and John Rahmes were the attendants at Peter and Mary's wedding in 1874.
The photograph was taken in front of the Williams residence at 536 Centre Street North. - Notes
- Peter Williams of Port Perry married Mary Wharton of Iroquois at Port Perry in 1874. The couple had six surviving children: Norman Percy Williams (1878-1967), Ethel Maud Williams (1881-1969), John Maxwell Williams (1885-1944), George Everett Williams (1889-1952), Walter Sheridan Williams (1892- ), Nora Edna Williams (1900-1976).
The Williams family moved to Whitby from Port Perry in 1907. - Date of Original
