Notes
The Coakwell family settled at Whitby in 1863 with almost all of their children fully grown. Charles (1816-1897) and Charlotte (1815-1904) Coakwell were married in Yorkshire, England in 1840. They had 8 children: Barnett, William, Thomas, George, James, Charles, Jane, and John.

The Coakwell family settled on the north half of lot 25 on Concession 5.
