Ruth Arksey's maiden name was Ruth Naomi Crawforth, and she was the daughter of Mathew Crawforth--yes, generally one t--and Eliza Park, Mathew's second wife. Mathew was the brother of Joshua Crawforth--also spelled Joshawa on many early records. There are many photos of various members of the Crawforth family in this collection.
