Notes
Composite displays 84 business and professional men. Each portrait was taken individually and then pasted onto a backdrop. It was then rephotographed.

Underneath the the portrait photographs are three photographs of Whitby landmarks. On the left is Burr Lodge which was located at Centre and James Streets. Jeffrey Flats at Lynde Creek is in the centre and the Ontario Ladies' College is pictured at right.
Inscriptions
The names of all of the men in the composite are handwritten in ink along both edges of the photograph.

Handwritten in ink along the bottom of the photograph: 'Burr Lodge. Jeffrey Flats. Ontario Ladies' College.'
