Black and white negative of a photograph of the train cars of the mule train wreck in Whitby in 1916. The cars are perpendicular to the track and are smashed into each other.
Notes
On 2 November 1916 a train transporting mules was wrecked at the junction of the Canadian Pacific Railway and the Port Whitby and Port Perry Railway due to a switchman's error.
