- Black and white negative depicting a photograph of a train wreck on the Canadian Pacific Railway. The back cars of the train are perpendicular to the tracks. The locomotive seems to be undamaged. There are a number of people standing at the side of the tracks.

- On 2 November 1916, a train loaded with mules bound for Montreal was derailed at the junction of the Canadian Pacific Railway and the Port Whitby and Port Perry Railway as a result of an error made by the switchman.
