- Description
- Black and white negative depicting an image of the residence and farm of Thomas H. Smith from the Illustrated Historical Atlas of the County of Ontario. The farm was also called Lakeview Farm.
- Notes
- William Smith settled on lot 21 of Broken Front Concession in Whitby Township in 1830 or 1831. In his will in 1859 he directed his three sons to erect a house. This cut fieldstone house was built in 1861 and became the residence of Thomas H. Smith. It was later owned by the Bonnetta and Hanna families. In January 1990 it was dismantled, stone by stone, and moved to Cullen Gardens where it was never reconstructed.
