Description
This is a black and white photograph of the former residence of Andrew M. Ross. It is surrounded by beautiful shrubs and greenery.
Notes
This house, located at 401 Colborne Street West, was built for Andrew M. Ross, a mens clothing merchant in Whitby in 1879. He was Mayor of Whitby in 1900-02. His daughter, Miss Marcia Ross, lived in the house until her death in 1979. An addition was built at the left of this picture in the 1980's. This view is of the east side of the house.
