- A black and white portrait photograph of Thomas Semple (1895-1964).
- Notes
- Thomas Semple was born at Cillemore, County Tyrone, Ireland in 1895. He came to Canada in 1911 and worked as a chauffeur at Ontario Hospital at Whitby from 1920 to 1960. He was a veteran of the First World War and was president of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 112 in 1945. He was a Master of Vimy Ridge Loyal Orange Lodge, Whitby and a Preceptor of the Chosen Few Royal Black Preceptory, Oshawa. He died at the Toronto General Hospital on March 15, 1964 and is buried in St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Port Whitby.
