- A black and white photograph of John Jabez Lynde (1864-1939). This picture is from a frame of portraits of members of Composite Lodge No. 30, AF & AM.
- Notes
- John Jabez Lynde, son of Jabez Lynde and Margaret Tweedie, was born at Whitby Township on February 15, 1864 and was a farmer in his early life before he moved to the Town of Whitby where he lived at the north-east corner of Dundas Street and Kent Street. He worked for a number of years for the Ontario Department of Public Highways. In his later years, he lived at the north-east corner of Dundas Street and Kent Street. He was Master of Composite Lodge in 1907. Mr. Lynde died at Whitby on March 15, 1939 and is buried at Union Cemetery, Oshawa.
