- A black and white photograph of a portrait painting of Adam Duff (1819-1896).
- Notes
- Adam Duff, was born in County Monahan, Ireland in 1819 and came to Canada in 1846 with John Fenny's family (of Pickering Township). About 1850 he and Rachel Park were married. In 1862 they moved to Myrtle where Adam Duff acquired more than 500 acres of land in the north part of Whitby Township. In 1887 they moved to Port Perry where Adam Duff remained until his death January 7, 1896. He is buried at Burns' Presbyterian Cemetery, Ashburn.
