Description: A black and white portrait photograph of Mrs. Joel Bigelow (Mary Ann Dryden)(1830-1912).
Notes: Mrs. Joel Bigelow (Mary Ann Dryden), daughter of James Dryden of Whitby Township was born in 1830. She married Joel Bigelow, a Whitby merchant, in 1856. Together they left Whitby in 1864 and in 1866 they settled in Chicago where they remained the rest of their lives. Mrs. Bigelow died at Chicago on February 20, 1912.
