Description: A black and white portrait photograph of Thomas Hobson. This is a copy of an earlier photograph taken by W. J. Underwood circa 1887-88.
Notes: Thomas Hobson was married to Jane Jackson at Dublin, Ireland on July 11, 1844. In 1848, he emigrated from Hackettstown, Ireland to Whitby, Canada and settled on the north side of Watson Street East at Port Whitby. He was likely born in Ireland and likely died at Port Whitby, on January 27, 1879. Thomas Hobson is likely buried in St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Port Whitby although there is no stone.
