- A black and white portrait photograph of Dr. Henry Warren (1838-1872).
- Notes
- This photograph was inscribed, "Mr. H. Warren, Whitby", we can only assume it is Dr. Henry Warren, son of William Warren, Collector of Customs at Port Whitby.
Dr. Henry Warren was born in Whitby Township, probably at Port Whitby on September 19, 1838. He attended New York Medical College and McGill University in Montreal, and commenced practice with Dr. Jonathan Foote at Brooklin in 1861. He married Dr. Foote's daughter, Margaret Eliza on September 28, 1864. On July 11, 1872 he committed suicide at Brooklin and was buried in Union Cemetery, Oshawa. - Inscriptions
