- A black and white portrait photograph of Arthur William Till. Arthur Till is pictured sitting in front of his office at Standerton, in the Transvaal.
- Notes
- Arthur William Till was born in Whitby, a son of William Till and Mary A. Hales. He served during the South African War, 1899-1902 and stayed there until 1905. He died at Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on September 30, 1930. This photograph appeared in The Globe (Toronto), Saturday Illustrated Edition, on December 23, 1905. The caption appearing under this photograph in the newspaper read: "Mr. Arthur W. Till, of Whitby, Ontario, who has just returned from South Africa, where he was three years with Baden Powell's Mounted Police and two years District Public Prosecutor."
