- A black and white portrait photograph of Reverend Arthur Mansell Irwin (1867-1952).
- Notes
- Reverend Arthur Mansell Irwin was born in Mariposa Township, Victoria County on July 21, 1867. He graduated from Victoria College of the University of Toronto in 1898 and was a Methodist and United Church minister at Dalrymple, Grafton, Canton, Newcastle, Cannington, Norwood, Oshawa and Whitby. Following his retirement he was a chaplain for construction work in northern Ontario. He was minister of the Whitby United Church in the late 1920's and was Deputy Reeve of Whitby in 1938 and 1939 and Reeve in 1940. He died at Oshawa May 7, 1952, and is buried at Union Cemetery, Oshawa.
