- A black and white portrait photograph of Reverend A.L. Richards.
- Notes
- Reverend A. L. Richards was minister of the Whitby United Church in the 1930's. He was born in England of Welsh parents and came to Canada as a young man. He served in the Air Force in the First World War, and after the war was a Congregational Minister at Richard, Saskatchewan and Broadview Congregational Church in Toronto. After 1925 he was Minister of Simpson Avenue United Church and assistant at Sherbourne United Church in Toronto. He was a Minister of Whitby United Church from 1931 to 1935 and spent the following year at Earlscourt United Church in Toronto. In 1936 he went to Bracebridge, where he died on April 2, 1937.
