Description: A black and white portrait photograph of Joseph White.
Notes: Joseph White was born in Toronto on March 16, 1844 and came to Whitby in 1852. Until 1896 he was employed at the Ontario County Registry Office. In 1896, he became Whitby's Town Clerk-Treasurer, a position he held until he died at Oshawa on May 24, 1921. He is buried in Union Cemetery, Oshawa.
