- A black and white portrait photograph of John Robert Frost.

- John Robert Frost was born at Castle Douglas, Scotland on February 12, 1901 and came to Whitby in 1923. He served as Assistant Clerk-Treasurer of the Town of Whitby from 1923-1926, Clerk-Treasurer from 1926-1966, Clerk-Administrator from 1966-1968 and Administrator from 1968-1971. He served the town and community in many capacities in the rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, Whitby Yacht Club and other organizations. He died at Whitby on May 5, 1983 and is buried at the Old Stone Church Cemetery, Beaverton, Ontario.
