- A black and white photograph of Charles Calder that was printed in the Gazette and Chronicle (newspaper).
- Notes
- Charles Calder was born at Brooklin, Ontario on December 29, 1852 and was a farmer, specializing in shorthorn cattle and southdown sheep. He was a member of the Whitby Township Council from 1887 to 1890, Deputy Reeve from 1891 to 1892 and Reeve from 1893 to 1896. He represented Ontario South in the provincial legislature from 1892 to 1902 and 1905 to 1919. He died at Brooklin on April 5, 1920 and is buried at Union Cemetery, Oshawa.
