This photograph is on the front of the twenty-seventh leaf of Alex Brown's album. This leaf has 4 pockets for photos on each side. In the top left pocket is a photo of John Borchuk and Winston Huycke. At top right photo is a photo of L. Costello, R. Borchuk, T. Donohue. At bottom left is an unidentified soldier wearing glasses. At bottom right is Bill Dilling with an unidentified soldier. - Notes
- Alex Brown is a local Whitby area veteran. He is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
William Donald (Bill) Dilling was born in Whitby in 1926. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Whitby Branch and a member of the Ontario Jockey Club from 1946. He died in Ajax in 2001.
