- This photograph appears on the front of the twentieth leaf of Alex Brown's album. There are four photos on this leaf. The top left photo is of L/Cpl. Louis Rousseau. The top right photo is of Allin Hewis. The bottom left photo is of Frank Kapuscinski and bottom right photo is of Hudson Marshall.
Louis Albert Rousseau was born at Whitby in 1924. He enlisted in the Second World War with the Royal Winnipeg Rifles in 1941 and was wounded in August 1944. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Whitby Branch and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a 30 year employee of General Motors Oshawa. He died at Whitby in 2000 and is buried at Mount Lawn Cemetery, Whitby. - Inscriptions
