- A black and white photograph of Jim Watson.
This photograph was on the front of the nineteenth leaf of Alex Brown's album. This leaf had 4 pockets for photos on each side. In the top left pocket was a photo of Jim Watson. The top right photo was of Bern MacCarl. At bottom left is a newspaper clipping about Cpl. A.W. Brown and bottom right a newspaper clipping about Captain Donald Beaton. - Notes
- Alex Brown is a local Whitby area veteran. He is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
James (Jim) Allan Watson was born at Whitby in 1926. He is a veteran of the Second Word War. He was a Whtiby firefighter from 1942 until 1974. He joined the General Motors (GM) Fire Department in 1948. He was founder and Chief of Garrard Road Fire Department, Whitby Township in 1955. He is a life member of the Ontario Fire Chiefs' Association.
