This picture is my mother. At this time she was not married yet, and her maiden name was Wilson, daughter of William and Florence Wilson formerly of Greenwood, Ont. Her full name was Lillian Mazie Gertrude Wilson, initials being L.M.G.W., and being only 5' tall, she was nicknamed: "Light Machine Gun Wilson" She met my father, James R Kirk in 1943 and in July 21, 1945 they were married at the Whitby Baptist Church.
