This photograph is on the back of the eleventh leaf of Alex Brown's album. This leaf has 4 pockets for photos on each side. In the top left pocket is a photo of an unidentified soldier. The top right photo is of a star with the letters SO inside. At bottom left is a photo of Jack Clarke with a horse and bottom right is an unidentified soldier.
Notes
Alex Brown is a local Whitby area veteran. He is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

Jack Edward Clarke was born in England in 1904. He was a seargeant in the Royal Canadian Air Force [R.C.A.F.] in the Second World War. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Whitby and a barber in Whitby and Oshawa. As well, he was an inspector for Field Aviation. He died at Oshawa in 1974 and is buried at St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Port Whitby.
