- A black and white photograph of Peter Hogg standing outside.
This photograph is on the back of the ninth leaf of Alex Brown's album. This leaf has 4 pockets for photos on each side. In the top left pocket is a photo of Peter Hogg. The top right photo is of Bill Outwin. At bottom left is Ernie Outwin and bottom right is Doug Outwin. - Notes
- Alex Brown is a local Whitby area veteran. He is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Peter Hogg was the son of Thomas and Carolyn Hogg. He lived all his life in Whitby and served the Pictou Highland R.C.I.C. on coastal defense. He was killed by a train at the Whitby C.P.R. station on December 6, 1941 and is buried in Mount Lawn Cemetery, Whitby.
According to the Canadian Virtual War Memorial site he is commemorated on page 32 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance. - Date of Original
