- Alex Brown is a local Whitby area veteran. He is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Malcolm Albert Allan was born in 1921 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and died in Oshawa in 1992. He enlisted in the Second World War in July 1940 and went overseas in April 1943. He returned in July 1945. He was a sergeant in the RCAF. - Date of Original
