Description
A black and white photograph of a number of soldiers in uniform from the 116th Battalion marching west along Dundas Street. The soldiers are marching west along Dundas Street to a flag raising ceremony which took place at the Armouries on Dundas Street East. A number of onlookers are watching the soldiers. In the foreground a soldier is picking up a small boy who is standing in front of the parade. In the background are stores and shops at the north-east corner of Brock Street and Dundas Street. The Standard Bank can be seen.
