- This is a black and white photograph of James Holden, Esquire.
- Notes
- James Holden (1828-1881) was the first president of the Ontario Ladies' College board of directors from 1874 to 1881. He was also one of the founding members of the College. Mr. Holden was born at Stouffville, Upper Canada, on February 29, 1828 and died at Dominion City, Manitoba, on October 24, 1881. He is buried at Union Cemetery, Oshawa.
