- This is a black and white photograph of Rev. Dr. John James Hare (1847-1922).
- Notes
- Rev. Dr. John James Hare was principal of the Ontario Ladies' College from 1874 to 1915. He served as governor from 1879 to 1915. Dr. Hare was born at Nepean Township, Canada West, on October 3, 1847 and died at Rochester Minnesota, U.S.A., on April 25, 1922. He is buried at Union Cemetery, Oshawa.
