Town Line – Our town line school has again organized a literary society and held their first meeting on Friday (March 6) with Arthur Mackey in the chair. Following is the programme rendered: Speech by the chairman, opening song, reading by Dell Brown, recitation by Harry Coakwell, reading by Blanche McGregor, recitation by Russel Carruthers, song by 8 girls, reading by Mabel Mackey, recitation by Mabel Rowe, reading by Annie Carruthers, reading by Lizzie Fothergill, song by Edna Moore, recitation by George Gold, recitation by Goldie Trull, song by two girls, mouth organ solo by George and Len Taylor, remarks by Mr. West, closing song by school.
